We are a family owned and operated grain farm turned seed grower. We are committed to the utmost quality of our offered products and exemplary customer service.
Our Farm
Our family farm has been operated out of the same yard outside of Richard, Saskatchewan, roughly an hour NW of Saskatoon off of Hwy #16, for over half a century (70 years to be exact). We grow a mixed rotation of canola, wheat, oats, flax, barley, and peas over 10,500 acres.
In 2017, when we discovered that there were no seed growers in Northwest Saskatchewan who sold CS Camden oat seed we became Sunset Road Seeds. Since this time, we have expanded to becoming seed growers for Alliance Seed and Secan as well.
Pedigreed Seed
Since its inception, our family farm has held itself to the utmost quality. We are committed to providing our customers whether it be the grain companies we sell to or farmers like yourself, with the matching highest quality products.
As pedigreed seed growers we are licensed as a bulk seed facility and approved conditioner with Seeds Canada. We are held to the same nationwide standards as all pedigreed seed growers in Western Canada. We strive to go well above and beyond these standards, and are committed to only providing our customers with a high quality seed that we ourselves use on our farm.
Canterra Canola
Being a shareholder with Canterra Seeds we have access to the sale of their canola seed. We have been very impressed with their seed selection and have switched entirely to their canola inventory for our own farm use.
